Stage One – Introduction, Stabilization, and Program Centered
This stage is the first two weeks to six months of residency. The new resident becomes acclimated to the program and their surroundings. This stage also includes minimal contact with outside family and friends so as the new resident becomes comfortable in the community. Participation in daily recovery groups is mandatory. Attendance at seven (7) outside 12-step meetings per week is mandatory. Transportation is provided by the facility to 12-step meetings. Anger Management and Domestic Violence classes are also conducted on site. Community service opportunities are offered.
